Woman does dirty dancing in front of elderly woman for TikTok video challenge, sparks online backlash

A woman, likely a foreign domestic worker, has sparked online backlash for recording herself doing a dirty dancing TikTok video in front of an elderly woman.
A video tagged as “demeaning and insensitive” is making rounds on social media. A woman filmed herself thrusting her hips in a dirty dancing motion beside an elderly woman whom she was reportedly tasked to take care of.
On Oct 22, Facebook page Singapore Incidents shared the video, believed to have been uploaded on short video creation app TikTok originally.

A woman, believed to be a foreign domestic worker, has come under fire for filming herself dirty dancing on video with an elderly person she was likely tasked to take care of.
The video, believed to have been put up on TikTok originally, was reposted to Facebook on Oct. 22, 2021, where it was criticised by viewers for being insensitive and demeaning. It has been watched more than 59,000 times on Facebook.
The elderly woman in the video did not appear to have been aware of what was going on, or to have even consented to be part of the clip that has been made public, as she sat there without moving much.

A video was recently uploaded on the Facebook page Sg Dirty Fella which shows a maid showering an elderly man.
The foreign maid then uploaded the video on her Tiktok account. Such actions are indeed incorrigible as employers place their trust in the maid to take care of their parents.
