Maid tosses 40 items – including wheelchair – from Singapore apartment window

A 31-year-old maid has been arrested for throwing items – including a wheelchair – from a flat on the second floor of an apartment building at Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9 in Singapore.

According to a report in Stomp, the Indonesian maid tossed a large number of items from the kitchen window of a second-storey unit at Block 623.

The incident, which occurred on Friday, was caught on camera and the video has since gone viral on social media.

A foreign domestic helper was arrested on Friday (Jan 19) for throwing items from a 2nd-storey flat in Ang Mo Kio.

The police said they were alerted at around 2.30pm on Friday to the incident at Block 623 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9. The domestic helper, who is 31 yrs old, was arrested.

Channel NewsAsia understands that no one was injured in the incident.

A 31-yr-old maid was arrested on Friday (Jan 19) after throwing items from a flat on the 2nd floor.

The police told The Straits Times that they were alerted to the case of a rash act at Block 623, Ang Mo Kio Avenue 9, at around 2.30pm.

A 31-yr-old woman was arrested in relation to the case and police investigations are ongoing.

Maid Throws Wheelchair Amongst Other Things Out Of HDB Window

The 31-year-old was soon arrested at the flat on the second floor. According to The Straits Times, the maid’s employer – a woman in her 60s – stated that the maid was newly hired and had recently started work only just a month ago.
