A TAFEP officer will be in touch with you to better understand what had happened. Where appropriate, we will approach your employer to assist them in their adoption of fair employment practices especially if it concerns discrimination based on age, race, gender, religion, marital status and family responsibilities, or disability.
For us to help you, it is important that you share full and relevant details such as your name, NRIC and contact (hand phone or email) details. Also provide a description of what had happened. All information shared is strictly confidential.
We will approach your employer only with your agreement. We will explain to you the potential implications of us approaching your employer on your behalf. Your identity will be kept anonymous as far as possible.
Alternatively, you may also wish to consider speaking to your Human Resources Department or union if you feel more comfortable doing so.
You may choose to withdraw your feedback at any time. Depending on the findings, we also reserve the right to withdraw from pursuing the case.
