Paris attacks: ISIS threatens attack

Update 21 Nov 2015: ISIS warns of fresh attacks on Washington in the third video to threaten America in as many days
ISIS has released another propaganda video claiming it will attack the United States, this time claiming the target is the White House in Washington DC - '"The White House will turn black with our fire, Allah willing"

Another extremist featured in the video says the western world should expect more bomb attacks like the one in Paris, singling out Hollande and Obama as targets

In a third video, ISIS threatened to attack Washington DC - despite the fact that FBI director James Comey said this afternoon that his agency is not aware of any direct threat against the U.S.

ISIS terrorists have threatened to destroy the White House just a day after another video threatened a suicide bombing in New York in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.

Speaking in the footage, a jihadi with a long beard and dressed in a headdress and robe worn by many ISIS fighters, warns: 'We started with [Paris] and we shall finish with the false White House.' He continues: 'We shall render [the White House] black with our fire, Allah willing.'

The professionally-produced clip was filmed in ISIS-controlled Dijlah province, to the north of Iraqi capital Baghdad, according to the Middle East Research Institute, which translated the footage.

A bearded jihadi, believed to be speaking from ISIS-controlled Dijlah, to the north of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, says the terrorists will 'blow up [the White House] like we blew up the false idols in this good land'

ISIS has gained a reputation for its brutal videos, some of which feature people being beheaded on camera. In the wake of the violent terrorist attacks in Paris which ISIS has claimed responsibility for, ISIS has now identified in its videos one of its next targets for destruction: the United States.

One video features an ISIS terrorist threatening to blow up the White House. The Middle East Media Research Institute claims the video was produced by ISIS in Diljah province in Iraq.
An ISIS fighter in the video proclaims in a segment of the video titled “Paris Before Rome:” “Oh Crusader France, Allah willing we shall pulverize your palaces. Allah willing, you shall know no happiness, and will not live for long. We started with you and we shall finish with the false White House which we shall render black with our fire, Allah willing. We shall blow it up like we blew up the false idols in this good land.”

Another terrorist in the video says: “Allah willing, we shall roast them with [explosive] belts and car bombs. We should follow them wherever they may go and Allah willing we should lead them like slaves, like dogs.” This video is not the only ISIS video released after the Paris attacks which threatens the United States. A different video praises the Paris attacks and then uses footage from an April video that shows a terrorist assembling a bomb and then zipping his jacket over the suicide belt in preparation for an attack on New York City’s Times Square.

A video released by ISIS on Thursday threatens new attacks in France, Italy, the United States and beyond

The video features two suspected ISIS fighters threatening to blow up the White House and launch more attacks on Paris. One fighter mentions a "conquest of Rome."

The Vatican's St. Peter's Square was recently featured on the cover of the terror group's online magazine.

Italy has responded to the video and magazine by beefing up security in Rome and the Vatican, with 1,000 members of the army being deployed around the country.

Islamic State has released yet another video message. In this one, it threatens to blow up the White House – the second time this week ISIS has vowed to attack Washington. The terrorists had already posted a video threatening to blow up New York.

In a one-minute video titled Paris before Rome, a bearded man in a turban menaces the US with threats of suicide attacks and car bombings. Speaking in Arabic on behalf of fellow jihadists, he warns that other states will face attacks similar to the ones carried out in Paris should they follow the example of French President Francois Hollande and US President Barack Obama.

As the video continues, another Islamic State (IS, also known as ISIS/ISIL) member says that they started with Paris but are going to finish with the White House, which they will render black with fire. The jihadists threaten to blow up the presidential residence, equating it with false idols.

Islamic State warned in a new video on Monday that countries taking part in air strikes against Syria would suffer the same fate as France, and threatened to attack in Washington, reports Reuters. The message to countries involved in what it called the "crusader campaign" was delivered by a man dressed in fatigues and a turban, and identified in subtitles as Al Ghareeb the Algerian. "We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France's and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington," the man said.

He also warned Europe in the video that more attacks were coming. "I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before," he said.

Apparently referring to international talks to end the Syrian war, another man identified in the video as Al Karrar the Iraqi tells French President Francois Hollande "we have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels."

Later in the video, a man identified as “Al Karar the Iraqi” speaks to the camera, threatening the “crusader” nations in the coalition against the Islamic State. The U.S. capital is specifically singled out. “We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” the man says, according to Reuters.

Another man, identified as “Al Ghareeb the Algerian,” also said that European nations should expect similar attacks. “I say to the European countries that we are coming — coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and [gun] silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before,” he said.

Al Karar the Iraqi also tells French President the terrorists will “negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels.”

French fighter jets launched their biggest raids in Syria to date on Sunday targeting the Islamic State’s stronghold in the city of Raqqa. The operation was carried out in coordination with U.S. forces. Police raided homes of suspected Islamist militants across France overnight following the Paris attacks.

“Al Ghareeb the Algerian” also warned Europe in the video that more attacks were coming.
“I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before,” he said.

A new Islamic State video threatens a Paris-style attack on Washington

A video released by an Islamic State sub-group appears to show militants in Iraq praising the Paris shootings and warning that a similar attack could take place in Washington.

The message, which was distributed by Islamic State-related social network accounts on Monday, was purportedly made by Wilayat Kirkuk, a group based in Salahuddin province, north of Baghdad.

Its authenticity could not immediately be confirmed. While the video does closely resemble others released by the Islamic State, it lacked the theatrics and high-quality editing that other videos have had.

Islamic State militants vow in a video released on Monday to launch terror attacks in Washington and Rome similar to the violence that erupted Friday in Paris and killed at least 129 people.

“So we say to the countries that participate in the Crusader campaign: By Allah, you will have a day like that of France. By Allah, if we brought down France in its homeland, in Paris, then we swear, by the command of Allah, we will attack America in its heartland, in Washington, Allah permitting, and we will invade Rome, Allah permitting,” a man says on the video, as translated by SITE Intelligence Group.

SITE said the 12-minute video was posted on Twitter and other social media sites. It features news clips from the Paris attacks and features three different apparent Islamic State militants promising more terrorist attacks. SITE identified the people in the video as coming from Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Algeria.

ISIS Threatens to Attack Washington in New Video
Officers from the Department of Homeland Security patrol Union Station, Nov. 16, 2015 in Washington, D.C.

ISIS delivered a new threat to the United States in a video released today, claiming that it will carry out an attack on the nation's capital.

The terror group, which quickly claimed credit for the deadly Paris attacks last Friday, said that the carnage in France was just the beginning. CIA Director John Brennan said the attacks in Paris should serve as a wake-up call for Americans.

“It's not just Europe. I think we here in the United States need to be obviously quite vigilant,” Brennan said during remarks at the Center for Strategic & International Studies Global Security Forum.

Islamic State threatens attack on West in new video with Washington next on terror hitlist

ISLAMIC STATE militants have released a chilling new video warning that countries taking part in the aerial bombing campaign against jihadi targets in Syria and Iraq would be targeted next. That includes Britain, Australia, Canada and the United States, with the death cult claiming in the film that Washington DC was in the group’s crosshairs.

The video, by an Iraqi sub-group calling itself Wilayat Kirkuk, cuts between jihadi fighters presumably filmed in Syria or Iraq and footage from the Paris terror attacks. Militants speak to the camera threatening to make other countries “suffer the same fate”.

In it they warn: ”We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day God willing, like France's and by God, as we struck France in the centre of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its centre in Washington.”

Islamic State threatens attack on Washington in retaliation for ‘crusader’ airstrikes
The Islamic State terror group released a video on Monday threatening to attack Washington, D.C., and countries involved in the “crusader campaign.”

The offensive move by the Islamic State comes days after Paris was hit by gunmen and suicide bombers and as France ramps up airstrikes against the terrorists in Syria and Iraq. The video references the Paris attacks that left 129 dead and 352 wounded on Friday.

“We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” said a man identified in subtitles as Al Ghareeb the Algerian, Reuters reported.
