What next for the women?
Ms Pang Chor Mui, star witness in Peter Lim Sin Pang's corruption trial
Former Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) commissioner Peter Benedict Lim Sin Pang was sentenced to six months' jail yesterday, and his lawyers immediately filed an appeal.
Lim, 53, is out on $15,000 bail.
But what next for the three women involved in his sex-for-contracts case?
The women and what they did
The women in former SCDF commissioner Peter Benedict Lim Sin Pang's corruption case: Ms Pang Chor Mui, former general manager of security solutions company Nimrod Engineering. She gave Lim oral sex at a carpark at Stadium Walk on May 2, 2010. Ms Lee Wei Hoon, director of technology firm Singapore Radiation Centre when Lim committed the offence. She gave him oral sex at a carpark in the Big Splash at East Coast Park on Nov 23, 2011. Ms Esther Goh Tok Mui, business development director of information technology firm NCS when Lim committed the offence. She had sex with him on six occasions between May and November 2011 at places including a carpark near the Singapore Indoor Stadium and a flat in Clementi.
The woman in former law professor Tey Tsun Hang's corruption case: His former student, Ms Darinne Ko, had sex with him in his office on July 24 and 28, 2010. She also gave him a Montblanc pen worth $740, two CYC tailored shirts worth $236, and an iPod Touch worth $160. She also paid $1,278 for a dinner at Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar which Tey hosted for about 10 students.
The woman in former Central Narcotics Bureau chief Ng Boon Gay's corruption case: He was acquitted in February after being accused of corruptly obtaining oral sex from Ms Cecilia Sue Siew Nang between July and December 2011. She was a sales manager at Hitachi Data Systems and a senior sales manager at Oracle Corporation Singapore.
Working it out after an affair
Madam Yap Yen Yen stood by her husband Ng Boon Gay’s side during his high-profile trial.
One was acquitted and the other convicted in two high-profile sex-for-contracts trials.
But former Central Narcotics Board director Ng Boon Gay and former Singapore Civil Defence Force chief Peter Lim share one thing in common - they cheated on their wives.
Mr Ng's wife was by his side throughout his trial while Mr Lim's wife was not, but both have said they stand by their men.
